Raiders Send Two Pass Catchers to IR and Waive Another 1st-Round Draft Pick

Raiders' Send TE Darren Waller and WR Hunter Renfrow to IR

Las Vegas' underwhelming season continues to be disappointing as they lose two star offensive pieces to IR. Waller aggravated a previous hamstring injury and rather than risk further damage, the team decides to shut him down for the next four weeks.

Renfrow suffered an oblique injury during Sunday's game against the Jaguars. Both Renfrow and Waller recently signed massive contracts with the team and not only have both regressed in play, but now they are useless to the team this season and will waste away a forgettable season on the injury report.

Vegas Parts Ways with Former 1st-Round Pick Johnathan Abrams

Speaking of uselessness, how about another Raiders 1st-rounder. Abrams joins the ever-growing list of busts selected during the Mayock-Gruden era. This was hailed as a playoff-ready Raiders team and has suddenly devolved into a rebuilding team halfway into year one under McDaniels. Luckily for Abrams he escapes the Raiders and has already been picked up by the Packers via waivers. The Packers, who are also struggling, will try to rehab Abrams into the superstar he was supposed to be.
