Saints Rookie Causing Issues at Camp, Diontae Johnson Extension, & Aaron Rodgers Admits Use of Psychedelics

Saints Rookie OT Trevor Penning Causing Issues at Camp

Saints' first-round pick OT Trevor Penning has been causing quite a bit of trouble during training camp. Wednesday afternoon Penning was kicked out of practice after starting his third fight in as many days. His college reputation follows him as he had similar aggression issues at Northern Iowa. Penning describes himself as competitive and does not see an issue with his actions. While Penning may have the skills to back up his claim, he won't be praised for them if flagrant personal fouls are thrown his way this season. Here's to hoping Penning doesn't turn into Richie Incognito and that by the time camp is over he learns to mature.

Steelers' WR Diontae Johnson Inks 2yr Deal

Diontae Johnson finally joins the WR extension party going on this offseason. Johnson signs a two-year $36M contract to stay with the Steelers. This seems to me as a prove-it contract for Johnson to stake his claim as WR1 since JuJu Smith-Schuster's departure this year. Johnson was a hold-in that tried to make every WR's goal of $20M/yr, sadly for him the Steelers stuck to their guns and gave him a fair deal. As long as I've been alive Pittsburgh has been a WR factory pumping out players at all depths in recent years. I am afraid for Johnson that he will be on his way out after this contract or be used as trade bait. Reports state that Steelers rookie WR George Pickens is impressing in camp and can very easily fight out Johnson and Claypool for their targets.

Aaron Rodgers' Favorite Pastime is Ayahuasca

The ever eccentric QB Aaron Rodgers credited the psychedelic drug Ayahuasca in aiding his back-to-back MVP awards in a recent interview. With a combination of the drug and psychedelic mushrooms, Rodgers claims that he is full of self-love and hit has helped him be able to let loose and perform better. Personally, I cannot back up Rodgers' claim of having never been under the influence of psychedelics, but if it has the possibility to make you one of the greatest quarterbacks to play the game, hell I recommend it to everyone. Most players are fighting for marijuana use while Rodgers' is playing 4D (literally) Chess and going around the rules and eating his veggies.
