QB Geno Smith to Start the 2022 Season Over Drew Lock
Another QB domino falls with a surprising turn of events where Geno Smith is an actual starting quarterback in the NFL. Smith was last a full-time starter with the Jets way back in 2014. He has been with Seattle for the last four seasons serving as their QB2 and I have no doubt that HC Pete Carroll is confident in him being their tank commander.
This is more telling of how awful former Broncos' QB Drew Lock is. The second-round pick was traded earlier this year in a package deal for legendary QB Russell Wilson. Lock had to try to lose this battle and here he is watching from the sidelines.
