After firing HC Matt Rhule it seems that Carolina is looking to clean house and start fresh. Their next step is to sell all of their assets for draft capital, this includes Christian McCaffrey. The All-Pro is having his first semi-healthy season since 2019 and will be at a high selling point. McCaffrey carries a high cap hit after his monster extension this offseason, but contending teams will be willing to make it work under the cap.
Teams that I see looking at McCaffrey are the Bills, 49ers, and Rams. All of these teams are contenders and the Rams especially have been known to chase star players to build a championship team. My pick for McCaffrey is the Buffalo Bills, the Bills and Panthers have a well-known pipeline and constantly help each other out with both players and personnel. Adding McCaffrey to a Super Bowl favorite with turn Buffalo into the dream team and lock them into at least a trip to the big game.
