After the benching of Matt Ryan and a poor start to the 2022 season, the Colts have parted ways with HC Frank Reich. Reich was once touted as the best OC in the league after a Cinderella Super Bowl run with Philadelphia and now is out of a job.
The Colts' seemed to have all the pieces to be playoff contenders besides quarterback. The past two seasons, Reich as made trades for two starting-caliber QBs and neither has panned out. Reich has even been quoted aftsr the benching of Ryan that he failed him by not having the team he promised to him during negotiations.
Indianapolis is now the second HC opening this year following the departure of Matt Rhule in Carolina. This is a win now team that will be a hot spot for all HC hopefulls, the question is whether or not Indy picks the right guy to lead their team to the promised land. In the meantime the Colts have made a familiar face, former OL Jeff Saturday, interim coach for the remainder of this season.
