Raiders Bench QB Derek Carr After Underwhelming Season

In a surprising fasgion, the Las Vegas Raiders turn to QB Jarrett Stidham as they look to reevaluate the position. Derek Carr has been the face of the Raiders since 2014 for both their successes and failures. Carr is also the reason they were able to pursue WR Davante Adams this past year.

Carr has struggled this season after a hopeful offseason. He has constantly left the Raiders in tight games and often losing on killer interceptions in the final minutes of play.

The Raiders also gave Carr a costly extension and will likely have to reenter football limbo if they look to move on.

The best idea would be for Vegas to find a trade partner for Carr as I believe he still has some use in the right system. Carr could be a good candidate for QB carousels in Washington or Indianapolis. A dark horse candidate could also be Baltimore if they cannot keep hold of Lamar Jackson after this season.

Carr will be inactive for the remainder of the season after likely playing his last game in Vegas.
