Another season gone and another team moving on from Carson Wentz. Once an MVP-caliber QB, Wentz has once again lost his job this time to the duo of Sam Howell and Taylor Heinickie. Howell shined in his lone start of 2022 and Heinickie is a known quantity as a mid-to-lower end passer.
With new OC Eric Bieniemy the Commanders look to refresh the entire offense to compete with the rest of their red hot division. On the bright side, Wentz's good friend Frank Reich has recently been hired as the HC of the Panthers, who also happen to be in the middle of a QB controversey.
I fully expect Carson Wentz to be in Carolina for at least some part of 2023. Not saying it will end well for either party, but we'll just have to wait and see.
