The Cowboys are once again stuck paying a young RB. The team is expected to tag RB Tony Pollard if an extension cannot be reached by Tuesday. If Dallas has learned from their past they would allow Pollard to walk unless they get him for a deal.
Pollard should be paid around $10 million, which matches his tag figures, but he may have been able to get more on the open market. In my opinion, the Cowboys must choose who their back is, Pollard or Elliot, granted they both work well together but they cannot afford to pay both top dollar.
