Texans Make Moves, Extend LT Tunsil, Trade WR Brandin Cooks to Cowboys

Texans Trade WR Brandin Cooks to Dallas in Exchange for 2023 5th & 2024 6th

Brandin Cooks is on the move once more as he is traded for the fourth time in his career. Coming off of a down year the Texans have decided to offload their best receiver to Dallas. The Cowboys making this move, once again confirms that they are out on any OBJ rumors and also signals that T.Y. Hilton will not be making a return in 2023.

When coming to Houston, Cooks stated his desire to find a forever home showed resentment towards being passed around the league. Despite his past, Cooks desperately wanted no part of the Texans' rebuild and desperately wanted a way out. Going into his 10th season, he may have found the place he will end his career with.

Texans Make LT Laremy Tunsil the Highest-Paid Tackle in the League Again

The Texans traded for Tunsil in 2020 as a cornerstone for their OL and gave him a massive extension making him the highest-paid LT at the time. He has held up his end of the deal by being Elite and the Texans reward him by filling his pockets once more. Tunsil signs a three-deal worth $75 million to be the bodyguard for the next face of their franchise.
